ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Alexandra Ortiz Díaz, though most people just call me Ally. I grew up in Dorado, Puerto Rico, surrounded by vibrant culture and coastal charm, but now I call Washington, DC home.
My work is all about connection—whether it’s through strategic communications, crafting compelling stories, or managing media.
I’ve had the privilege of exploring different corners of the communication world: building campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders as a public relations intern at Pinkston and Glen Echo Group, engaging alumni as part of American University's Advancement Communications team, and creating buzzworthy content as a creator for Barstool Sports.

Each role has taught me something new about the power of communication and how to tailor a message to make an impact.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me dancing to clear my head, hunting for my next favorite restaurant, or enjoying a bit of fresh air. I’m always curious, always learning, and excited to see what’s next in this ever-evolving career journey.
